Donovan and I discussed the trials and tribulations of being an artist. He has become a close mentor and great inspiration for me during my journey as a coming of age musician.

Embarked on my own musical tour, following in the footsteps of Donovan and The Beatles, and traveled to several countries in Europe; during this time, I gained a greater understanding of how to be independent and effectively manage my time and resources in order to accomplish my goals.

Performed in Liverpool at the Cavern Club, where The Beatles originally played and got their start, as well as The Half Moon in London, where bands such as The Rolling Stones played.

Made a name for myself in — I performed every night in the local pubs and became a part of the community. I was even featured on one of the local radio stations and in newspapers in Cornwall, England.

In St. Ives, the locals knew me as “Young Donovan” due to my personality and style of music, which reminded them of the young, budding musician from the 1960s, who dreamed of being the voice of his generation, as do I.
